Dr. Avinash Gupta has been the esteemed Chairman of the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple USA and the Indian Cultural Community Center in Toms River, New Jersey, since its inception in 2012. Under his visionary leadership, the temple has become a vital center for worship and cultural enrichment, serving the Hindu community in the region.

Incorporated as a non-profit organization, the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple USA was established with its objectives of providing a place of worship, promoting cultural activities, and supporting humanitarian causes. The temple actively organizes poojas and festivals, promotes Hindu ideals, encourages youth participation, and engages in charitable and educational initiatives to uplift the community. Dedicated to Lord Ganesh in His incarnation as Siddhivinayak, the temple was born out of the community's desire for a place of worship, especially for residents of Toms River, NJ, who were far from the nearest temple.

The temple’s governance consists of the Council of Trustees, which articulates the vision and mission, and the Executive Board, responsible for the temple's daily operations. This structure ensures effective management and promotes the temple’s ongoing growth and outreach.
