American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI)

Dr. Avinash Gupta serves on the Executive Committee of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) and is the former President of the Monmouth and Ocean County Chapter. Founded in 1982, AAPI has grown into a prominent professional association representing over 80,000 Indian-American physicians, highlighting the significant contributions of this community to the U.S. healthcare landscape.

The association emerged during the 1960s and 1970s.
